If you want to think about your company in a radically different way , if your directors are truly conscious leaders , if it has been clear to you for some time that the traditional business model does not solve the most pressing crises facing humanity and the planet , ask us about the Regenerative Business Strategy workshop, which we develop with disruptive companies in a spectacular place where the wisdom of the Pacific will serve as inspiration .
The workshop will be moderated by Daniel Aldana (see LinkedIn ). Daniel worked at McKinsey & Co., studied at MIT, and has been a Director at BOT, a consulting firm, accelerator, and social and environmental impact investor, for over 25 years. He is also one of the founders of Verde Pacific and the author of three books, the latest being an in-depth reflection on Colombia and its true pillars of value.
During the workshop, we will answer questions like the following with your team:
-
Is our business model "Net Positive" or simply "Less Bad"? Instead of striving for neutrality, how can we design processes where the environmental and social output is greater than the resource extracted?
-
How are we integrating positive externalities into our cash flow? Beyond impact reporting, how does community well-being become an asset that reduces our risk or cost of capital?
-
Does our supply chain practice ecosystem resilience or just cost efficiency? Are we co-investing in the regenerative capacity of our producers to ensure business continuity for 20 years?
-
Does our organization benefit from biomimicry ? Are we designing products and processes that mimic living systems (where waste doesn't exist and everything is a nutrient), or are we still trapped in the linear "extract-manufacture-dispose" model?
-
How does our regenerative governance look in daily decision-making? Is there a real mechanism where the "voice" of ecosystems or impacted minorities has a seat (or a vote) on the steering committee?
-
Are we measuring Social Return on Investment (SROI) with the same rigor as ROE? What "shared prosperity" metrics are we auditing to demonstrate that the company's success is not proportional to the depletion of its environment?
-
Is our culture one of social antifragility ? In times of polycrisis, does our relationship with employees and the environment strengthen us against pressure, or are we a rigid structure that could easily break down in the face of social change?
-
What role does Circular Design play in our differentiation strategy? Can we move from selling products to selling "access services," while maintaining ownership of the materials to close the technical loop?
-
What is our "Stranded Asset Legacy"? What current assets or practices will lose all their value in a decarbonized and regenerative economy, and how quickly are we divesting from them?
The workshop will combine teamwork, in-depth discussions, learning from the local community, and immersion in nature , so that participants leave inspired, with important answers and challenges , the kind that make it worthwhile to work intensely on them day after day.
